AdornFlow / Legal
Privacy policy
Last updated 7 October 2026
This explains what AdornFlow collects when you use it, what we do with it, and who else is involved.
1. Who this covers
This policy is about people who use AdornFlow to build and run a store (store owners). Shoppers who buy from a store built on AdornFlow are that store owner's customers; the owner decides how their information is used, and we handle it only to run the store for them.
2. What we collect
Account details: your name, email address and a securely hashed password.
Store content: what you tell us about your business, your products, photos, prices, policies, and the messages you send the AI editor.
Store data: orders, customer details and settings in your store's own database, including any payment keys you add. These stay in your store's database.
Usage: which features you use and how much, so we can apply plan limits, fix problems and improve the service.
3. How we use it
To build, host and run your store; to make the changes you ask for; to keep the service secure and working; to apply plan limits and, when paid plans are open, to bill you; and to contact you about your account.
4. AI providers
AdornFlow uses AI models from other companies to design stores, write listings and make the edits you ask for. To do that, we send them the relevant content: your business description, product details and photos, parts of your store's code and content, and your messages to the AI editor.
We currently use Anthropic (Claude), OpenAI and Google for this. Some requests we send to OpenAI are made under a data-sharing arrangement, which means OpenAI may use that content to improve its models. Don't put information in your business description or chat messages that you wouldn't want processed this way.
We don't send these providers your password or your payment keys.
5. Other services we rely on
Cloudflare carries traffic to the platform and to stores. Free photo libraries (such as Pexels, Pixabay and Openverse) receive search terms when we look for sample photos. A currency-rate service is contacted to show shoppers prices in their own currency. If you connect a payment provider, WhatsApp or other accounts to your store, those companies process data under their own policies.
6. What we don't do
We don't sell your personal information, and we don't use your store's customers to advertise to them.
7. Keeping it and deleting it
We keep your account and store data while your account is open. You can delete a store at any time: it goes offline straight away, an archived copy is kept for 30 days in case you want it restored, and routine backups are kept for 7 days. To close your account or ask what we hold about you, contact us.
8. Security
Each store runs separately with its own database and is isolated from other stores. Access to the platform's own systems and keys is restricted. No service can promise perfect security, so please use a strong, unique password.
9. Cookies
We use cookies that are needed for the service to work: keeping you signed in, and remembering choices such as a shopper's preferred currency. We don't use advertising cookies.
10. Changes
If we change this policy in a way that matters, we'll update the date above and let account holders know.
